Jennifer Robinson grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. She completed a Master of Science in Counseling before pursuing a career in nursing, earning her Nursing degree and becoming a Registered Nurse. In 2010, Jennifer completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Georgia State University and achieved national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

 

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Jennifer developed a strong interest in the treatment of obesity and metabolic health. She saw firsthand how evidence-based, medically guided weight management could help patients improve or reduce the impact of chronic health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, osteoarthritis, depression, and sleep apnea. Through her work, she recognized the profound shift that even modest, sustainable health changes can create in a person’s overall well-being and quality of life.

 

In 2015, Jennifer co-founded Resolve Medical Weight Loss to devote her clinical practice exclusively to obesity medicine. She is highly experienced in the use of FDA-approved anti-obesity medications and is deeply committed to patient education—helping individuals build sustainable habits in nutrition, lifestyle, behavior change, and physical activity. At Resolve, Jennifer leads a team that provides compassionate, individualized, and unhurried care, ensuring every patient receives a plan tailored to their unique needs and goals.

 

Jennifer is an active member of the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA), The Obesity Society (TOS), and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She frequently speaks to healthcare professionals on topics related to obesity management and continues to participate in advanced continuing medical education to stay current with emerging research, guidelines, and innovations in obesity medicine and metabolic health.
